Originally from Grand Forks, BC, Caylin’s playing experience includes Tier II Junior A, US College, and the ECHL. A graduate of Morrisville State College, Caylin majored in Human Performance and Health Promotion, a B.Sc program that heavily focused on the physiology of exercise and sport performance. While attending Morrisville, Caylin served a goaltender for the Mustangs NCAA Men’s Hockey team.
Since graduating from University in 2011, Caylin has pursued a career and passion for coaching and teaching the game of hockey. He has worked as a strength and conditioning, power skating, and goaltender coach with Hockey Impact Training and Twist Sport Conditioning based out of Edmonton, Alberta and Burlington, Ontario. Since joining Skillz SSC in Calgary he has also worked with Crash Conditioning and GDI goaltender development.
Caylin brings close to 10 years of hockey instruction and player development to Skillz SSC. His experiences in strength and conditioning, power skating, skill development, and goaltender consulting/coaching has allowed him the opportunity to work with grassroots players, NHL players, and Olympic athletes.
Caylin currently lives in Calgary.
